President of Sri Lanka-China Friendship Association (SLCFA), Ananda Goonatilleke, the Chaperone of the Youth Delegation to the 2016 Shanghai International Youth Camp was hosted by Madam Judy Y. Jing, Executive Vice President and Zhou Yajun, former Vice President of the Shanghai People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (SPAFFC).
Five students who represented the SLCFA were Devin Balapatabendi, Pasan Gunathilake, Disal Weerawardana, Thanuga Goonatilleke and Hasala Madugalla, three from Ananda College and one each from Royal College and D.S.Senanayake College. They performed in two major events of the Youth Camp, singing a Sinhala song and drawing and explaining a national cultural picture. During this visit the President of the SLCFA was invited to the Shanghai Foreign Languages College, the Sister School of Ananda College, Colombo and future interactions between two sister schools were discussed. Council Member of the SPAFFC Cheering Song, coordinated the scheduled visit.
