Members of Sri Lanka – China Friendship Association (SLCFA) conducted a silent demonstration on February 13, 2020 in front of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Sri Lanka, Colombo to express support and solidarity to the People’s Republic of China. SLCFA commended the efforts of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the Government of the People’s Republic of China to effectively manage the health emergency.
Speaking at this demonstration Ananda Goonatilleke, President of Sri Lanka – China Friendship Association said China is not alone in the fight against Corona virus, and we express support and solidarity to the People’s Republic of China and to the heroic Chinese people at the current moment of health risk.
